Help Us through Your Donation!

Ratna Ling and Dharma Press are run by a wealthy religious organization founded in Berkeley in 1971, now 12 different foundations known collectively as the Tibetan Nyingma Meditation Center. This religious conglomerate reported assets of more than $60 million according to SEC and property tax files, and has a distinctly entrepreneurial focus. They have apparently hired a former county supervisor and former county planner to act as consultants, and have hired a large legal firm (Clement, Fitzpatrick, and Kenworthy) to help legitimize this commercial industrial use in a Rural Resource Development zone.

Coastal Hills Rural Preservation is a group of Sonoma County residents that is funded by small donations. We are working for the common good by preserving one of the most beautiful rural areas in Sonoma County as intended in our General Plan. Unlike Dharma Press, we do not profit by this effort. Please help us with this good work through your donation.

You can help Coastal Hills Rural Preservation with attorney, consultant, and mailing costs by making a tax-deductible donation on the internet, through our 501(c)(3) sponsor the O.W.L. Foundation. Use this link to their website and scroll down the page to "Coastal Hills Rural Preservation."

OR you can send a check to our nonprofit partner:

North Coast Institute
PO Box 253
Gualala, CA 95445

(Donations by mail to NCI are also tax deductible and preferable because 100% goes to CHRP.)

Thank you for your generosity!
